Gentle Reframing

Our minds bring us many thoughts, questions & stories. Some are less helpful than others. I believe that rather than banishing these from our minds or judging ourselves for having them, a slight reframe or adjustment in language is more beneficial.

The thoughts and feelings we naturally experience aren’t always helpful to us. Sometimes, we are able to simply put them aside and not engage with them, while others are more persistent. Rather than getting hooked into ineffective narratives, we can instead try to shift them toward more helpful, compassionate directions that guide us toward growth and understanding.
